SITUATION/PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Realising how important knowing the first aid principles can be if an accident happens, and recognising the lack of first aid skills and fear of taking any actions among Poles, BRE Leasing became the main sponsor of the BREL – Safety, Rescue, Education, People. The program aims at providing first aid, spreading knowledge that first aid safes limes and developing first aid skills among Poles.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION/SOLUTION:
The main aim of the program is an accessible and widespread promotion of first aid in accidents as well as minimising the fear to take action. For the needs of the campaign a special group BREL Team has been formed. The team runs trainings and shows in the cities of all over Poland. The team consists of highly qualified instructors who are equipped in the car and the highest quality medical equipment.

During training everyone can get learn how to operate such equipment or can practice resuscitation on the dummy. The training team is present at picnics, celebrations and motoring events. The team also conducts sessions for employees of other companies. Training sessions can be attended by anyone, regardless of age or a social status. The internet service was started as part of the project. Internet users can find there comprehensive and exhaustive information on providing first aid (www.brel.pl).  

All the materials were created basing on the EU guidelines, and the complex medical terminology was replaced by the colloquial terms. Emerged company is the partner who controls the substance content of the site.
