The 2008 eWell-Being Awards are now open for entries from projects demonstrating how Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) can help improve people’s lives and reduce our impact on the environment. There are 8 different categories for entry to the 2008 eWell-Being Awards covering a wide range of uses of ICT. The categories for the 2008 Awards are:
Short listed entrants will be invited to attend a lavish gala dinner at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in March 2008 where the winners will be announced. Winning projects will benefit from high profile recognition and national exposure. “The eWell-Being Award really gave a boost to the Digital Fife project - messages from the community groups - over 100 of them -flooded in after we won our category,” said Sheena Watson, Digital Fife, “It made a real difference being judged as achieving in partnership and innovation. We have had great publicity and interest from many different arenas - a breadth of interest that we would not have achieved without the Award.” To find out more about the 2008 eWell-Being Awards, including further information on the categories, and to submit an entry visit eWell Being Awards 2008 or call SustainIT on 01733 312286
